Suzuki Ignis

It’s Suzuki’s smallest SUV, not much bigger than a Swift but bursting with big car attitude. It sits high with wheel arch extensions and roof bars, giving it the look of a miniaturised off-roader. And it has the performance to back it up too, with optional ALLGRIP 4-wheel-drive and Hill Descent Control. Choose from SZ3, SZ-T and SZ5 trim levels. SZ-T models feature 50-50 individually-sliding rear seats and a rear parking camera, while SZ5 models pile on the kit with keyless entry and start, satellite navigation, LED headlights and automatic air conditioning. You also have the option of a 1.2 Dualjet petrol engine or 1.2 SHVS hybrid engine. Add ALLGRIP 4-wheel-drive to your SZ5 for assured grip in bad weather.

Small but mighty

There’s nothing else like the Ignis. It’s as compact as a city car but chunkier and taller, giving it the look of an SUV. SZ-T and SZ5 models have roof bars, wheel arch extensions and 16” alloy wheels to complete the look.

SHVS hybrid

The Ignis SHVS is powered by a 1.2 Dualjet petrol engine paired with a compact lithium-ion battery. This powers an Integrated Starter Motor, which smoothly boots up the Ignis in stop and start traffic to reduce fuel consumption.

Low running costs

Fuel economy of 48.6 to 54.1mpg combined means whichever Ignis takes your fancy, you won’t break the bank running it. The SHVS hybrid offers the best blend of performance and efficiency in the real-world.

Manual or auto

Two-wheel drive models are available with a manual or automatic transmission. Automatic models are smooth and responsive, but the manual’s crisp shift suits the Ignis’s nippy character perfectly.

ALLGRIP 4WD

Available as an option on SZ5 models, the Ignis’s ALLGRIP 4-wheel drive system sends power to all four wheels when it senses slip for assured traction. The system is also paired with Hill Descent Control for safety.

Connectivity

The Ignis’s 7” touchscreen (SZ-T and SZ5) has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto so you can run your favourite apps on it. Alternatively, the built-in software is easy to use and SZ5 models also come with satellite navigation.

Rear parking camera

SZ-T and SZ5 models come equipped with a rear parking camera as standard to help you park and manoeuvre safely. This activates when you select reverse gear with the view displayed on the 7” infotainment system.

Excellent practicality

The Ignis has space for four passengers and neat individually-sliding 50-50 rear seats on SZ-T and SZ5 models. At 267-litres, the boot’s big enough for a monthly grocery shop too. 4WD models have a 204-litre boot.
